Intra-muros minibus network

You can take advantage of Mons's free-of-charge 'intra-muros' bus network. The busses stop by every 10 minutes and are easily recognizable by their small size and their name. The 'Circuit A' will allow you to reach all the important places downtown (station, hotels, hall of Residence, campus). Service provided from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 21:00. The following map describes this tour and indicates (red dots) where the minibus stops.

Escapade tips
The hospital Our Lady with the Rose

The hospital Our Lady with the Rose was founded in 1242 and is one of the last examples of a self-sufficient hospital, complete with farm, gardens, ice chamber and cemetery, next to the convent buildings and hospital. It is an example of how hospitals worked during the Middle Ages. www.notredamealarose.com
When leaving Mons, follow the direction Nimy-Jurbise-Lens. At the roundabout of Chievres, take the first exit right towards Attre-Ghislenghien. At the trafic light follow the direction Lessines and carry on following the signs Hôpital Notre-Dame à la Rose.
